Back to AMT for another lovely kit with a few flaws.  We ended up with four crates of these, as the first batch came with really serious sink marks in critical areas, like the tail-light panels.   Not one to shrink from a science project, I decided to take four of the rejects and carry out putty tests.  After fourteen years, yes, the blue one shrank a bit, two (red and bronze) seem to be stable and the green one is too hideous to show.  Which putties, you ask?  A+B epoxy, Canadian Tire, Tamiya and I forget the other.  I wrote them down on the inside of each body.  D’oh!  The bronze and red ‘Vettes both have seats of polished primer, a nice effect that I continue to use wherever possible.
